巨磁致伸縮材料是20世紀(jì)70年代發(fā)展起來(lái)的新型功能材料,具有應(yīng)變大,能量轉(zhuǎn)換效率高等優(yōu)點(diǎn),在功能轉(zhuǎn)換、智能驅(qū)動(dòng)、智能傳感等高技術(shù)領(lǐng)域有重要應(yīng)用。簡(jiǎn)要介紹了磁致伸縮及巨磁致伸縮材料的發(fā)展歷史,從稀土巨磁致伸縮材料、非稀土巨磁致伸縮材料的合金化研究、制備技術(shù)和應(yīng)用技術(shù)等方面綜述了我國(guó)巨磁致伸縮材料的發(fā)展歷程,介紹了我國(guó)的科研工作者在巨磁致伸縮材料研究領(lǐng)域所取得的重要研究成果,最后對(duì)巨磁致伸縮材料發(fā)展及應(yīng)用進(jìn)行了展望。

Giant magnetostrictive materials are new functional materials developed since 1970’s, characterized by giant magnetostrain and powerful energy conversion. In this paper, an introduction of magnetostriction and the history of giant magnetostrictive materials, and a number of important research results obtained by our scientists in the field are described firstly. Then we review the recent developments of both rare earth and non rare earth magnetostrictive materials. Finally, the tendency of developing the giant magnetostrictive materials is presented.
