自從2008年初在鐵砷/鐵鹵(FeAs/FeSe)基的材料中發(fā)現(xiàn)高溫超導(dǎo)電性以來,已經(jīng)有至少7種結(jié)構(gòu)類型的材料被合成出來了。其中在1111體系中,電阻和磁化測量得到的超導(dǎo)轉(zhuǎn)變溫度可達(dá)56K,而且有跡象表明超導(dǎo)溫度有可能會繼續(xù)升高。在鐵基超導(dǎo)體的正常態(tài),很多非常規(guī)電子特性,如反鐵磁和四方-正交結(jié)構(gòu)相變等也被觀察到。鐵基超導(dǎo)體是典型的多帶超導(dǎo)體,具有較長的相干長度,近三維電子特性,很高的上臨界磁場和不可逆磁場和很強(qiáng)的磁通釘扎能力,因此它們在強(qiáng)磁場方面有很好的應(yīng)用前景。本文簡單綜述了鐵基超導(dǎo)材料的結(jié)構(gòu)類型,分別對幾種主要的結(jié)構(gòu)類型的性質(zhì)進(jìn)行了描述,然后對電子配對的機(jī)理問題作了比較詳盡的描述。最后結(jié)合臨界電流和臨界磁場行為,對鐵基超導(dǎo)體的應(yīng)用前景提出展望。

Since the discovery of high temperature superconductivity in the iron pnictide/ chalcogenide materials, at least there are seven related structural types have been fabricated. In the 1111 system, the highest superconducting transition temperature (Tc) measured by resistivity and magnetization can reach 56 K. There are some hints that the Tc can be increased to higher values. The iron based superconductors have multiband feature. Many unconventional electronic properties in the normal state of iron based superconductors have been discovered. The iron based superconductors have relatively longer coherence length, more three dimensional electronic property, higher upper critical field and irreversibility field, very strong flux pinning, therefore they have the great potential for applications for producing high magnetic field. In this short overview, we will give a brief survey about the development of materials and physics of iron based superconductors. We give detailed descriptions on the properties for several kinds of materials with the major structures. In addition, we will give a introduction about the present understanding of the pairing mechanism. Finally we will try to give a perspective on the potential applications of the iron based superconductors.
