金屬材料的表面強(qiáng)化技術(shù)包括表面化學(xué)熱處理技術(shù)、表面淬火強(qiáng)化技術(shù)、表面涂層強(qiáng)化技術(shù)、表面形變強(qiáng)化技術(shù)和表面劇烈塑性變形技術(shù)等,著重推介了一種全新的表面強(qiáng)化技術(shù)——金屬表面梯度滲氧強(qiáng)化。金屬表面梯度滲氧強(qiáng)化技術(shù)有別于傳統(tǒng)的滲碳、滲氮和熱氧化技術(shù),是一種提高金屬材料表面性能的經(jīng)濟(jì)且高效的新方法。首先回顧了金屬表面熱氧化及氧擴(kuò)散技術(shù)的發(fā)展歷史、應(yīng)用現(xiàn)狀和潛在不足,隨后詳細(xì)介紹了近年發(fā)展起來的新型金屬表面梯度滲氧強(qiáng)化技術(shù),并闡明該技術(shù)的滲氧機(jī)理和固溶氧強(qiáng)化原理。金屬表面梯度滲氧強(qiáng)化技術(shù)具有適用范圍廣、滲氧效率高、強(qiáng)韌化效果顯著、工藝簡單、成本低廉、經(jīng)濟(jì)環(huán)保、節(jié)能高效和生物相容性強(qiáng)等優(yōu)點(diǎn),是一種極具發(fā)展?jié)摿Φ男滦徒饘俦砻鎻?qiáng)化技術(shù)。

The surface strengthening technology of metals includes surface chemical heat-treatment, surface quenching strengthening, surface coating strengthening, surface deformation strengthening and surface severe plastic deformation. This paper focuses on introducing a brand-new surface strengthening technology: surface gradient oxygen-charging strengthening. Different from the traditional carburization and nitriding technologies, the surface gradient oxygen-charging technology is an economic and efficient new way to improve the surface properties of metals. This paper first reviews the development history,application status and shortcomings of the thermal oxidation and oxygen diffusion hardening methods. Then the paper introduces the newly developed surface gradient oxygen-charging technology in detail, and expounds the underlying oxygen-diffusion mechanism and solid solution hardening mechanism. The surface gradient oxygen-charging strengthening technology has the advantages of wide application range, high oxygenation efficiency, significant strengthening and toughening effect, simple processing, low cost, economic, energy saving and good biocompatibility. It has a great application potential as a new way of surface strengthening of metals.
